YOUTH YOGA PROJECT WORKSHOP: Teaching Yoga to School-Aged Kids

We will explore essential concepts to teaching yoga in public school and community settings such as building relationships in schools, securing and setting up successful yoga space, managing a classroom with diverse needs and delivering trauma-informed yoga practices. Participants will leave with strategies and tools to empower students to support their health and well-being on and off the yoga mat.

Take Time: Crafting a Personal Practice

WITH ALEXANDRIA IANNI

Is a daily practice part of your New Year’s resolution? Looking to uncover more energy, ease, and peace in your everyday life?

While a full 60+ minute practice in a studio surrounded by the energy of other students is an unmatchable experience, it’s not always accessible. This workshop will offer you some simple yet effective techniques to awaken, unwind, and simply abide.

Have 10 minutes a day? Some is better than none! Come experience and learn 9 short, simple techniques that will become the building blocks for creating your own daily personal practice to compliment the time you spend on your mat at the studio. The building blocks you learn can be mixed and matched to welcome the New Year with your own personal practice!

Bring your curiosity, a yoga mat and a writing utensil.

INVESTMENT: $30 *discounts for members

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Alexandria (Ali) started experimenting with mixing and matching shorter segments to craft a more sustainable daily practice. The practices she discovered helped her engage more regularly and create daily habits that have not only become integral parts of her day but have changed the way she sees, feels, and interacts with the world around her. She cannot wait to share these practices with you!
