Alyssa began practicing yoga in graduate school as a form of stress relief and exercise. She soon found that yoga was so much more than just a great work out, and she has been hooked ever since! She loves teaching Yin and helping people find stillness, but also loves to get people moving in Vinyasa classes.
Alyssa spends most of her day as a music therapist, working with children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. As a music therapist, she is skilled at adapting music to meet the needs of her clients and provide them with a successful and enjoyable experience. As a yoga instructor, she does the same thing with yoga: she adapts the poses and sequence to meet the needs of her students and provide them with a great experience.
