Yoga at GIVE isn’t about getting it right or pushing yourself into something you’re not ready for. It’s about showing up, paying attention, and letting the practice meet you where you are.

No theatrics, no pressure — just honest work, shared space, and room to grow.

Glad you found us.

  • I’m brand new to yoga — is that okay?
    Yes. Full stop.

Our classes are accessible, adaptable, and taught with options. You don’t need prior experience, flexibility, strength, or a certain “type” of body. Curiosity and a willingness to show up is a great place to start.

    How early should I arrive?
Arrive anywhere between 10–20 minutes before class.

You can check in at the front desk or through our app — either works. If it’s your first visit, a little extra time can help you settle in.

For safety purposes, our front doors lock when class begins.

    What do I bring?
    Very little.  Bring:

    • A yoga mat (rentals available $5)

    • Water, if you’d like (we have a refill station and water available for purchase)

    • A sweat towel, if you choose (also rentable for $3)

Our studios are designed to be a place to unplug. Phones aren’t needed in the practice rooms.

  • Our classes are “All Levels”
They are accessible to a wide range of bodies and experiences. Teachers offer variations so you can choose what feels right for you.

Can I arrive late or leave early?
To preserve a calm and focused environment, we ask that you arrive on time. If you need to leave early, please let your teacher know before class begins and exit quietly.

    Phones during class
You’ve already chosen to be here. Unplugging can be part of that choice.

Phones are encouraged to be left outside the practice room. If you’re open to it, consider silencing notifications or setting wearables aside. Nothing is lost — the practice will meet you just the same.

    Do teachers offer hands-on adjustments?
Hands-on assists are optional and always based on consent.
Teachers will explain options at the start of class, and you’re welcome to opt out at any time.

How hot is the hot studio?
The hot studio is held around 98°F, though the heat can feel different each day. Factors like the season, class size, and your personal practice all play a role.

We invite you to listen to your body, take rest whenever you need it, and approach the practice in a way that supports you.

    Amenities
Outside each studio, you’ll find cubbies or shelving for personal items. Restrooms and showers are available, and towels can be rented if needed. Lockers are also available for securely storing your belongings.

  • Do I need to pre-register for class?
Pre-registration is encouraged, as many classes fill. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Online registration closes 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

If you are unable to register for a class, please log out and then log back in to your account to reset.  If you are a member, double check that you have a good credit card on your account and that your membership payments are processing normally.

How far in advance can I book classes?
We use rolling booking windows.  A rolling booking window means you can book classes a set number of days in advance from today, and that window moves forward every day.

Each pass type or membership has its own window:

    • Members: can book 14 days in advance

    • Class Pack Holders: can book 10 days in advance

    • Drop-ins: can book 7 days in advance

You’ll always see the earliest available class you can book based on your pass or membership.

What happens if a class is full?
If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. If a spot opens, you’ll be automatically added and notified by email/text.

    How does the waitlist work?
If you’re added to a class from the waitlist, normal cancellation policies apply. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if your plans change.

  • What’s the difference between memberships and class packs?
Memberships offer ongoing access and consistency, while class packs provide flexibility. Details for each option are listed on our pricing page [insert link].

    Do memberships auto-renew?
Our monthly membership renews automatically unless paused or canceled according to our policy.

Can I pause or freeze my membership?
We offer limited freezes for travel, illness, or life circumstances. Please contact us before your billing date.

How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership from your account on our app or website.  Please refer to your membership agreement for terms.

Do class passes + packs expire?
Yes, class drop ins + packs have an expiration date. Expiration details are listed at the time of purchase.

  • What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel at least 3 hours before class to avoid a $10 late cancellation fee or loss of class credit.  Please manage your bookings mindfully and cancel early when plans change.

What happens if I late-cancel or don’t show up?
Late cancellations and no-shows result in a fee or class deduction. This policy supports fair access to classes and ensures our teachers are compensated.

Why do you have a cancellation policy?
Our classes have limited space and our teachers rely on consistent attendance. This policy helps us care for both our community and our teaching staff.

    What if there’s an emergency?
We understand that life happens. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out - we’re always happy to have a human conversation. You can reach us here: hello@giveyoga.com

  • Can I attend class if I’m sick?
If you’re not feeling well, we ask that you rest and return when you’re better.
It’s one of the simplest ways we care for our community.

    How is the studio cleaned?
Our studio is cleaned regularly, and communal props are sanitized between uses. You’re welcome to clean your mat and props before and after class.

    Is the studio accessible?
We are committed to accessibility and inclusion. If you have specific needs or questions, please reach out - we’re happy to help.

  • What kind of environment can I expect?
Our studio is a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive space. We value presence over performance and believe yoga is for every body.

    Does your studio GIVE back?
Giving back is built into how we operate.

Each year, a portion of our offerings supports community giving through the GIVE Yoga Fund — one way we stay connected beyond the mat.

In 2025, the GIVE Yoga Fund donated $11,000 to:

    • Nationwide Children’s Hospital

    • Los Angeles Wildfire Recovery

    • Kaleidoscope Youth Center

    • Clintonville-Beechwold CRC

To date, we’ve donated more than $120,000 to nonprofit organizations.

Thank you for being part of that impact.

  • Who are your teachers?
Our teachers are experienced, well-trained, and deeply committed to thoughtful, student-centered teaching. You can learn more about them on our Teachers page [insert link].

Do you offer workshops or special events?
Yes.  We regularly host workshops, trainings, and special classes designed to deepen understanding, explore specific topics, or simply practice together in a different way.
You can find upcoming events on our website +  schedule.

How do I become a yoga teacher — or are you hiring?
We offer a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certified through Yoga Alliance.

Some students join with the intention to teach; others to deepen their personal practice. Both are welcome.

If you’re interested in teaching opportunities or working with us, keep an eye on announcements or reach out directly: hello@giveyoga.com

  • Is parking available?
We have 6 spots in the back of our building and street parking is readily available.  Please be respectful of driveways in the neighborhood.

Do you sell mats or props?
Yes, we offer a selection of mats and accessories for purchase.

    Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Friends are welcome—just make sure they’re registered for class.

  • Reach out anytime — we’re happy to help.
