Special Event | 🔥 UNMASTER: A Power Yoga Anti-Masterclass
Led by: Leah Westwater
Friday, October 17, 2025 | 6 - 8pm
Hot Studio | $35
What happens when we stop trying to “master” the pose—and start listening to what it’s revealing?
UNMASTER is not your typical power yoga class. This 2-hour immersive experience invites you to step off the hamster wheel of striving and sink into the deeper currents of your practice. Rooted in the strength and vitality of power yoga, this class uses foundational postures as a gateway to profound self-awareness and inner disruption.
In this embodied and inquiry-driven practice you will slow down just enough to feel the truth under the movement—and speed up just enough to notice where resistance lives in the body. Expect a sweaty, wholehearted flow that challenges both your muscles and your mindset.
This is not about mastering the pose. It’s about unmastering the illusion of control, letting go of how it’s supposed to look and tuning into how it feels.
What You’ll Explore:
💪 The Fundamentals, Revisited
- Strong, simple postures deconstructed and re-experienced with fresh attention.
❤️🔥 Disruption of Comfort Zones
- Where do you check out? Push too hard? Hold back? We’ll go there—with compassion.
🧠 Resistance as a Teacher
- Notice. Stay. Learn. Not to fix—but to see more clearly.
🌱 Create Space for Reflection
- Intentional pauses and quiet—inviting insights to arise organically.
🧘 The Embodied Experience of Truth
- In this space, you’ll listen deeply and move from the inside out.
Come prepared to sweat, connect, reflect + remember what you have known all along.

Special Event | Full Mala 📿
Gather together in community in GIVE Yoga's BIG Studio for a Full Mala | 108 Sun Salutes!
Our current class of teacher trainees will be leading this beautiful practice and they are thrilled to be able to guide this grounding and transformational experience.
By practicing a Full Mala you will align yourself to the cycles of nature. This beautiful ceremony will use Surya Namaskar 108 times to cultivate physical and spiritual growth. Come join your yoga community as we embrace this practice whole-heartedly together.
Please donate $10 to participate and the training class will be choosing a local 501(c)(3) to contribute to. As always, the GIVE Yoga Fund will match all funds raised - doubling your contribution! ❤️
Special Event | Pop Up Yoga | Josie Schweitzer
Join us for a special morning at GIVE Yoga as we welcome back home of Columbus' most beloved teacher and leaders: Josie Schweitzer.
Resting Space: A Sound Bath
Wake up your ability to hear as you bathe in the sounds of singing bowls, the Handpan, flutes, and gongs. Let go and be as you receive the harmonies and vibrations washing over you.
Alignment Sound Energy will play an array of instruments to aid you in achieving deep relaxation and and dive into the parasympathetic state of your nervous system. With the aid of these instruments, space will be held for you to connect with the deeper aspects of yourself. This experience is an invitation to enter into your own essence, deeply connect with your body through ethereal sound vibration; to release, soften, unwind, envision and meditate.
Sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being. Sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. Come let healing processes be initiated by the unique tones of this sound bath, creating the perfect state for deep meditation, creative thinking and intuitive messages.
We can't wait to share this wonderful experience with you.
DETAILS
You’re encouraged to wear unrestrictive athletic wear to allow relaxation. Yoga mats will be available for rent. We have blankets and bolsters available for use.
Hosted in Clintonville's BIG Studio — space is limited and pre-registration is required.
